About

I am a retired Electronics and Software Engineer, having spent a rewarding career designing digital and microprocessor-based systems, developing embedded firmware, and creating custom integrated circuits using Verilog and VHDL. I particularly enjoyed the hands-on nature of the work — taking systems from initial concept through development and ultimately into deployment.

During those years, I was always tinkering in the shop, primarily with woodworking — an interest I continue to pursue today. After retiring, I broadened my workshop activities to include metalworking, exploring machining, welding, and fabrication. I chose 1.5" scale live steam locomotives and horology as projects that allow me to explore these new areas.

This website serves as my workshop notebook: a place to document projects, share photographs, and reflect on lessons learned along the way.
